They have mentioned All Australian selection this year.

What if we could trade the ESKI to the weagles for Judd. What would you say to that swantastic?

I don't think you could argue that this year's break-out player has been anyone other than MELCHO? Schmidt has been really good, but MELCHO has become an integral part of the side!
        Good on ya Xie Shan

Only semantics... But if it was Eski last year, then Schmidt this year...

              Schmidt?????
You people are kidding aren't you?
He's done nothing impressive thus far.
Melcho-Slash-Eski came out screaming and has done nothing but get more impressive as time goes on.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

If allowed (although I would have thought last year was his Breakthrough year, it was the year he started to get regular games (not permanent) in the seniors.), then yes, the Eski. But this year, Schmidt definitely. Swans seem better when he is playing. Very creative in close.

And, whilst I am not a big fan, over the last 4 weeks he has been improving a lot, I would say Bevan as well. (I know this will get a lot of howls on this board). Has been getting pretty regular in the lineup.

The other one I would say , although it is a much delayed ?breakthrough?, is McVeigh. He has been a regular in the team for about 2 years, but is only in the last 6 weeks he has started being useful.

Wasn't McVeigh's breakout year 05/06? I think this year he has played badly with the last 4 weeks making his form this year look better than it really is.

Doesn't happen often but I find myself agreeing with Annie on this, Melcho has broken through to the elite level IMO. He'll be giving Spida and Kirk a run for their money for the Skilton medal and expect to see him sneak in for the medal that means EVERYTHING (TLM).

Kudos to Schmidt. It's not easy breaking into the seniors - he's been very solid and consistent.

I don't think I've seen a draftee as solid as him.
He ate more cheese, than time allowed

what position should he play and which player in the side at the moment should make way for him?
