Clever - Kennelly has gone forward to pick up X Clarke.
And another magnificent save from C Bolton.

Brilliant work from Schneider to force to the turnover.
Stupid error from Goodes.
Everitt has been handy.

What a superb tackle from C Bolton on Gehrig stopping a certain goal!

Although not particularly a high-quality game I thought that was a pretty good solid win under pressure.
Best: C Bolton (BOG), Buchanan, Goodes, Mathews, Bevan, Richards, McVeigh
(How about those last four!!)
Very disappointing games from Ablett and Hall.

It may have not been pretty, but it was effective. Craig Bolton must be favourite for the All-Australian Centre-Half Back position for the second year running. With the likes of Hall, O'Loughlin and Davis not performing in the forward line, at least someone like McVeigh could kick 3 goals. Goodesy and Monty are playing great in the midfield with Kennelly and Malceski providing a great run.
With Barry and LRT out, there was more pressure for B2 to perform and he certainly did and was definite BOG as well as Ted who also played a good game. Keeping Gehrig to just 4 touches and Riewoldt out of the contest, our defense did an awesome job. Although it may be boring or ugly, the game was played on our terms with our midfield clearly outpossessing theirs.
Next week it's up at the GABBA against the Lions who have faced a reality check with an insipid performance against Hawthorn earlier today. I'm confident that Sydney will win and hopefully B2 will easily shut down Jonathan Brown and lead to an easy win.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore
