How many words in a West Coast supporters dictionary?
1... Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall.
It drives me insane. Last saturday at my kids under 9`s game, the opposition parents all decked out (not in their kids team colours) but in their Budgie gear, would scream at the top of their lungs the B word every time one of our kids were tackled. F#ck I wanted to wring their necks. And when one of their little darlings were done for holding the ball it was " That wasn`t ball Ump, that was a sling", or some craap like that.Even Santa follows the Swannies.Comment

As for my seats at Telstra I hate them. I will be requesting a move as I sit near the Wicked Witch of Aisle 104 who counts how many times people want to get past her (aisle hog).
I do sit behind 3 good blokes who are good for a game dissection at the breaks and I met a great Swan Supporter, her Mum and a Pie fan who were a great laugh.Comment

I must admit, I get the @@@@s with people who get up and move in the middle of play as well. Wait for the break or at least a break in play. People getting up in the middle of play 5 mins after the start of the quarter does my head in no end.Comment

I have a man like that at the SCG. He is always complaining about people going by and he says 'if i had a dollar for everytime someone had to get through i'd be a rich man'. I used to avoid getting up but now i do it just for the sake of annoying him.Comment

... but I had to get to the bar before they closed it at the 3/4 time break!!Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

No worries.
FWIW we usually have a similar crowd around us to that in the MAN at the SCG.Bring it on!Comment

it was not until the boys and through them the parents pressure for a competition that it finally got up, that and some very hard work by Dale Holmes and his team at the NSWAFL.
The point of this is that AFL is making an impact in Sydney and the other codes know it, I wonder if Melbourne will ever believe it.
I do take my hat off at to the regional develpt team (particularly that of Inner City), they are doing a great job, and are getting the runs on the board to prove it, in spite of the prescence of Mr Holmes who IMHO is a goose, a classic Demetriou crony appointment, and has little idea of what is required at school and grass roots level to develop the game in Sydney.Comment

I sit in Bay 118 (Cheer Squad) at Telstra and so don't usually have a problem with people wanting to get thru as they are normally fellow CSers, but in our new area at the SCG(due to redevelopment) it happens constantly with peolpe moving to the seats behind the CS and is driving all of us around the bend. We'll all be glad when we get our regular SCG bay back.Red & White forever.Comment

with the venom of bagging coming from some Victorians (I said some not all!) against we Sydney siders, I wonder if the Brisbane lions supporters in Brisvegas have to endure the same kind bagging from the old Vic Fitzroy supporters that we do from fellow so called Swans supporters? - honestly get over the move, it happened 25 years ago - move on, embrace the now and look to the future, hope that the Swans can win a few more flags whilst some of us are still able to get to the ground! It is a strong club - it aint going anywhere else any time soon.
Is there some some kind of generic footy supporter that we are all (in some peoples eyes) supposed to be so as to be fully accepted ?- God if we were all the same - how bloody boring would that be?
Aussie Ange is right as to where we sit - its normally the same crowd at both grounds - but generally they are a nice crowd, apart from the weird bloke who decided he wanted to stand next to me at last years Geelong game and I thought he had just got out of SilverWater prison - I thought he had terrorist tendancies.I found his total hatred of anything Geelong odd, considering he actually lives in Geelong.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
