    Dead rubber...time to make changes

Next weeks result makes little difference to the swans.....7th or 8th.
Good time to make some much needed changes (even at this last gasp stage)
At the moment we've got a team of stoppers who aren't stopping many.
    We've become predictable and stale.
Out goes : Brennan & Mol injured, Monty on holidays.
Add to those...Crouch, McVeigh, Bevan and Mathews
    Lucky to stay... Davis
In comes... Dempster, Leaper, LRT, Schmitt, Moore, Vogels, Laidlaw

    Have I forgotten anyone??

I don't know how you can suggest Davis is "lucky to stay", nor do I know what you expected him to do last night with A) The lack of inside fifties, B) The lack of inside fifties to him, C) The small number of inside fifties that we're to him, going over his head, to his opponent, into the grandstand etc, and D) That when he did get the ball he used it better and smarter than more than half the team.

Give Hall a rest I suspect, also MOL. Brennan is out and Buchanan will be replaced with Schmidt I would think. Good time to give LRT a run and get Leo back. (I think Laidlaw is out with a hammy anyway.) No time to experiment since we need a solid team for the first final against kangas or Pies I would suspect.

It's a long way from a dead rubber Ernie.
        Sydney v Hawthorn
        Collingwood v Adelaide
        Richmond v St Kilda

If the three away teams win these three games, we're done.

Your joking...He had 7 possessions...He's got all the skill but doesn't work hard enough off the ball. Having said that he can be a match winner on his day and that's why I'd keep him in.....just

ST Kilda would have to win by 300 points to catch our percentage.

He was playing at full forward most of the game - stood at the top of the goal square and watched the game being played in Collingwood's half.

When the ball went inside 50 no one kicked it to him, no matter how free he was.

Doyle's gone for the season (again!).

Everitt has a lower-back injury of some sort.

All the more reason for Jesse White!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

OK, what about LRT as Jolly's back up ?? He's a good crash and bash merchant around a contest. It could be a good way for him to come back.

You forgot to mention that he also kicked 2 goals. He is playing primarily as a forward and averaging 1.7 goals this season, that's a decent return for someone who is at best a 3rd target for midfielders.
