Ordinary quarter so far. Lucky goal to ROK from a non-free kick to Kirk.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Two shocking mistakes by Malceski to give a goal to Hawthorn.

The Hawks have kicked 4 of the last 5 goals, not good enough Swans.

Isn't that amazing how the Swans can't win all 4 quarters? I wonder how would our coaching staff explain that? It looks to me that they got instructions to lock the game down and hold the result.

Looks like major knee injury to Ablett.

Ablett out with a knee injury, possible dislocated knee cap or ligament tear.

is it really so hard to just SMASH the opposition?? we started better than we have all season.... why the heck can't we finish it off?? Do we have some '@@@@e play' quota that I don't know about??

                      Poor quarter.

                      Did notice this though...

                      Barlow 10 disposals 8 tackles

Same amount of tackles as Kirk and best on the ground.

                        3 Quarter Time

                        Sydney 18.8 116
                        Hawthorn 9.5 59

Somewhat disappointing, we should've blown them away but a few dodgy decisions and some bad discipline from our players set up easy goals for the Hawks. The 100 point thrashing looks unlikely now.

our run and pressuring stopped and skill level dropped about 4 notches. This is the Swans side we've seen all year!

Praying for a good finish to really give us a boost next week against pies.

I've got strange feeling that our players are not fit enough to last all 4 quarters, that is why they slow down to avoid injury, which of course didn't help Ablett.

Fairly poor quarter. More like what we've come to expect this year. Interesting to see which Swans team comes out in the last quarter.

For the future though, I think the team will be better off without Barry, J Bolton and Crouch.

Bloody hell, the umpiring for both sides has been terrible!

David Parkin probably shouldn't commentate on Hawthorn games methinks.

Leo should just take the first option instead of trying to dodge 15 players.

We were bound to ease off a bit - they have everything to play for not us.
