I think Mal's ability to play different roles is useful. Last week we started him at half-forward. I think as we move forward he's a potential midfielder.

Said this for a long time. He is a very natural receiver, and someone that could read a clean tapout.
We honestly need to work out midfield rotations. Too many defenders and no attackers. The game plan is to force a second ball-up to get numbers around the ball.
We need 1, maybe 2 defending mids at the centre bounce (2 against the better teams).
We need an attacking mid, which the game plan is not built around.
