I was specifically responding to to the point that we have no one except Jolly who is trade bait. Clearly a number of our players would attract interest with Malceski and O'Keefe probably the most. If West Coast offered Kerr for O'Keefe you'd probably take it as it's a trade which satisfies the needs of both clubs.

The age old issue of trading comes up again. In order to get something worthwhile you have to give up something worthwhile too. So while we may want to hold on to the likes of Malceski and O'Keefe, it may well be that we have to trade one of these players in order to get something of value in return.

Most defenders will be beaten by Rusling for pace. He's ultra quick and has a strong pair of hands too. Looks like he could be a handful for most defences in years to come.

I thought Dempster may have been a better match-up on Rusling but then I wasn't sure who would go on Thomas

Must go, either via a trade or delist :
                1) McVeigh, just pathetic
                2) Bevan, out of his depth
                3) Matthews, played ok last night but generally he's below par.
                4) Grundy or Vogels, no point in having them both on the list.
We won't win anything meaningful with these jokers in the side.

I think Jolly is the only one with trade value. To think that other clubs think highly of J Bolton is folly, they have all worked out how to put him out of the game and have even stopped tagging him. They show him no respect at all so no coach in their right mind would take him. Well maybe eade.

From now on in answer to Leo, players earn their place in the side based on form not name, maybe then the younger players will have the incentive to play at their top always in the 2's.

I hope we do trade Jolly. I just saw footage of him at the airport from this morning and he was laughing and joking around like we had just won the GF again. Doesn't seem like he cares too much about his rubbish performance last night.

I saw that too. Wasn't impressed.

His performance last night probably hurt his trade value as well.
