I think you are really clutching at straws trying to find an excuse or someone to blame for our loss. The plain hard facts are that we weren't good enough this season.

I never had an issue with the georaphical location from their hotel

My issue was that they were out at a casino before an important game, betting massive amounts of money and looked to be there for the long haul. I have questioned the psychological effect of this and wondered if it had an impact on performance.

Would you say walking around the block or visiting family would have the same impact on you as losing 5 grand at a casino? I think not.

Whilst $5000.00 might be a lot for you and me, for a footballer these days its almost small change.

BTW visiting my ex's family would have been more catastrophic than losing moneyt at the casino.

Around 9pm on my blackjack table, this big guy with a green polo and hat sits down, buys $2000 worth of chips and gets into it. I look twice and see it's the one and only Barry Hall.

Even though that's probably not all that much to Barry, it's nice to know he blew more money then i did on the weekend.

Gee when most fellas are saying they aren't drinking these days, one things comes across my mind.

How do the players best prepare for such a big match, stay in their rooms and meditate?
