Should we lure Didak to the Harbour City?

I can't stand Dildak (for some reason I had been calling him a "little criminal" for a few years before this year's issues - can't remember why exactly, he just seemed to have that quality about him on the field) but I can appreciate the footballing talent that he is.
That point that he kicked out of mid-air was amazing, even though he missed the goal, I was still excited to watch that replay half a dozen more times. Players attempting the fantastic is one of the reasons people go the footy.
Not that I would claim that all players on our team are 100% angels (blood-stained or not) either - and the reference in this thread that one such player was 'cleared' of any wrong-doing in a past indiscretion is nowhere near as accurate or clear-cut as it sounds.
But having said all that, I would not be overly thrilled to get him to our club anyway (unless it was for peanuts). Is he the type of footballer that is going to make a lot of difference to our win/loss ratio? He is the cream on your footballing cake, not the nourishing centre.
Unless he showed some potential to develop into a gun midfielder then I would not bother - the middle of the ground is where we are lacking and it should be our priority.Comment

I'd prefer the Eagles to win the flag, than Collingwood, Hawthorn, Geelong or North.
I'm a Victorian and love Victoria but the Melbourne media have made me feel this way. Due to the continual crap they write, about how good it will be if a Victorian side wins the flag.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

I used to support the Non Vic Teams on in the granny, including the Eagles, and Crows. Kick a Vic.
But I'd prefer the Cats, coz the cup might come back to Vic, but not Melbourne.Comment

I know where you are coming from. It was only a few months ago it was "The bad State of Vic Football", now they are wetting their pants over the idea of a Vic/Melb won Cup.

Every supporter grew up hating every other Victorian team - now all of a sudden they want one of them to win. It doesn't make any sense.Bloods

It's a bit like when a guy I know asked of a pie hater "why do you hate collingwood so much", the reply, "It's not the team, it's the supporters."
