How smart was Didak taking out the third! Loose men everywhere.
Yep - turned it into a very easy goal. Great game by Didak tonight.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
"[T]here are things that matter more and he's reading and thinking about them: heaven, reincarnation. Life and death are the only things that are truly a matter of life and death. Not football."
And how good was Priddis? Went a long way to making up for some of the run missing tonight. Glass too - taking him off the ground was a serious error - 6 minutes to lose a season - wow. When he was on, Anthony was pretty well nullified. One of their other defenders whose name escapes me - Hurn or something (couldn't he Hird surely??) - he is very quick. Oh the joy of the Collingwood song - ho hum.
Great last few mins of regulation time - umpires did the right thing and just kept calling play on.
Cats would be disappointed I think - they've just lost home ground advantage. Would still be favourites though.
I must say it was nice to just sit back and watch the game instead of worrying about the result too much - so glad it wasn't us. Having said that I think we would have struggled had it been us - conditions were slippery, pressure huge - a lethal combination for our performances.
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
I wasn't sure who to go for either way, then gave up on it becasue I couldn't decide so I didn't care! I probably should have kept watching but that's the way it goes lol! Go Cats!
All I have to say is HELLLLLLLLLLLL YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Straight sets defeat! I must be the only happy person in Perth!
I'm in Perth and I'm happy too. Like Damien post #43 I know it sounds petty but this loss has denied the Westers chance at a double. I don't think I could have handled being here in Perth with the West Coast tripe and the possibility of doing what Sydney couldn't quite do in winning two in a row.
The umpires tried a few times to with their home -town decisions to give WCE a big chance to win it.
I had visions of the 'Stenglein incident".
