Do you reckon Chris Judd, who appears a pretty decent sort of bloke, can't wait to get out of this environment at the end of the year?

I reckon they won't see him for dust as he speeds back across the Nullabor.

Mind you, I thought Selwood appeared a decent bloke, but this cancerous culture looks like it has claimed him as well.

Yes I hope so. I'd hate to see a champion like Judd's reputation tarnished because of this mob.

Those thoughts have crossed my mind to, the BS that is going on there must be difficult to stomach for the decent blokes, like Judd, that are in the club.

We had this discussion on April 17 after Braun dropped the F-Bomb accepting the Glendinning Medal.

I'm sure it's still the reason he's leaving. It's much easier to say 'I just want to go home' then say 'I don't want to spend another second in this place with certain high profile nobs as teammates dragging my name and image thru the mud'

I'm also wondering whether the Evils selectors knew that Judd would leave at the end of the season so therefore didnt care whether continuing to play him with an injury might have long term consequences.

I bet West Coast must be proud of their supporter base. Some of those comments remind me of the abuse my father-in-law (Swans fan too!) and I copped outside Subi Oval after the Qualifying Final in 05 when we lost by 4 pts. I even had a couple of little boys pull the one finger salute at me and told me to @@@@ off back to Sydney!!!

Anyway, makes me wonder if the same Wiggles fans who bagged Freo supporters for booing Judd when he won the Glendinning medal (after Freo won the derby, can't remember which one?) will be out in force booing him again when he returns as the enemy next year??

Massive differences between the Jolly and Judd situation.

Judd never wanted to go to Perth, yet stuck around for 6 years and captained them to a Premiership and became their first Brownlow Medalist. He deserves a little more from their supporters, sure they can be disapointed but to turn on the instant hatred for him shows me what sort of supporters they really have. I saw on TV last night one supporter claim that West Coast made him what he was - what a load of crap, Chris Judd would have been a superstar anywhere.

Sydney turned Jolly's career around, and in turn Jolly helped us win a Premiership, I do think he owes us more than 3 years though. Maybe someone will correct me, but we seemed to be the only club with any real interest in him in late 2004. Imagine what his career would have been like if he had to stick it out with Melbourne all this time???

Spot on Damo Jolly owes us because if if wasnt for us it would be Jolly,who.The Swans turned him into a premership ruckman who no commands a big salary and high draft pick.
