    Roughead on trade table

3aw announced that the big lad is on the table. Seems strange to me that that would be the case but a tall mobile forward or back would be ideal. No 2 draft pick originally.

20 yrs old and 193 cm and 99KG at start of year.

    PLace your bets!

    Pick 11. Why not?

Mitchell Thorp from Tassie is highly rated so probably not enough room for 4 talls if you count Franklin , Roughead, Boyle and Thorp.

          Pick 11 + Schneider
For Roughhead + Hawthorns 2 rounder would be a fair trade in my opinion

Does seem strange. Roughead is what I hoping Vogels or Grundy would become. Heard from any other sources?
Punter, why would the Hawks want Schneider/ Buchanan? not being narcky, just curious because I think roughead would be a good pick up.

Does seem strange. He either wants to go or they are punishing him.

Not sure that Roughhead is the genuine article. Is he more than a tad lazy or not a real smart thinker? Then again he seems to have been pidgeon holed as a leading forward pocket.

I suspect someone like Schneider would fill one of the gaps the Hawks have. But you do have to wonder why they'd want to offload him unless they have a specific target in mind that they need to give up some quality to get.

And if they're just trading him for the sake of it, don't expect them to settle just for pick 11 and Schneider. Pelchen would want Malceski and Goodes thrown in as "small change" I should think.

For obvious reasons I wouldn't want anyone from Hawthorn now!!

Roughead's not a great kick. I think I'd rather have Dowler.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

                          I'd rather have Buddy.

                            Maxfield and Ball for Roughead.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Being Hawthorn, you'd have to say "deal or no deal"
