I don't think it was last year that Nic wanted to go home.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Yes, he's probably been looking to go for a couple if not a few years now.

Mattner wants to come here, Fozzy wants to leave, maybe that's the swap to happen?

Unlike the saga of Rocca where he soooo under performed whilst with us that there was no choice but to let him go, at least Foz has maintained his integrity and played his heart out every game. Hard not to play your heart out when you've just played in the last 2 GF's. T'would be a loss, but we can't keep someone who doesn't want to stay.
        That's simply not true.

Fozzie does not miss Adelaide, his wife is a Sydney girl who is a fashion designer, offered himself as a trade in 2004 to assist the club, but after 2006 signed a 3 year contract.

I hope he plays out his career at the Swans. Our drop off the pace this season had nothing to do with Fozzie and everything to do with some of his underachieving teammates.

No he doesn't. In fact he came out this time last year and said that he hasn't requested a move back to Adelaide due to "homesickness", nor does he want to move back there in the near future.

Seeing a Fosdike doesn't want to leave. I'd expect the deal to be Pick 28 for Mattner, with maybe Doyle thrown in to save us having to delist him and giving Adelaide a ruckman to boost their ruck depth.
          Once was, now elsewhere

He hates playing in the backline, he will want to play on a wing.

I love it in Sydney and have no interest in going anywhere. It is just basically a bit of gossip and it's a little frustrating as I have people ringing me up asking if I am going anywhere.

Like I said, love Foz, ecstatic the Mrs' is a local gal, he's a bonus in the team, very consistent.

Just read the AFL trade news and there's a comment from the D's saying the Swans are expressing an interest in Brad Miller! Any info on him? They said it would have to be a good offer to get him.

The Miller trade is old news, unless he's done a backflip and wants to come to Sydney.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

Pick 28 is nothing, especially in a piss weak draft.

Geez, I try to keep up and i've never heard of this particular player or trade talk, but the info I read was only posted on the AFL site at 7.16pm tonight!

Love it, love it, love it.

Hard running, exceptional tackler and has adequate foot skills.

Won't play half back, say hello to our new winger.

Not fussed if it's our second pick at 28 or even if Doyle is thrown into the deal as well.

Sorry, I meant it wasn't last year- it was a few years ago (as a couple of others have already pointed out).

Apparently it's almost a done deal.

And yes it's an extremely good pick up, gives us some much needed pace. He can actually hit a target too.
