    Bye Bye Schneider - Speculation

    Daily Terror

Scheider to Aints Bolton to Dees, I am sure Miller would have to be on the table for Bolton

Happy to see Scheider move on good for him and us. Can't imagine there are many Aints we would be interested in they hve 3-4 guns and many many mediocre players at best

It also says Schneider is under contract for 2 more years and isn't keen to leave.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Losing Schneider is bad enough, losing him to the Aints is even worse. Hopefully it wont happen.

From what we read we have gone "trade happy". But then I don't believe
much that is written in newspapers these days. I have been told that
Schneider has just purchased a house in Sydney. B1 can't go, what would
the social pages do without him?

I hope it's not correct but how about Adam Schneider and a 3rd round draft pick for Luke Ball?

I think this all could be smoke screens and Paul Roos using this period to stick a rocket up certain people's backsides. However he is also smart enough to realise that all of these three (Jude, Bukes, Nides) could be a great pickup for teams that have a lack of what we have a surplus of. He also has the disclaimer of previously speaking with all our players letting them know that its their head that could be on the chopping block in trade week.

I admire the way he has gone about his business.

The only problem I see is that players under contract who don't want to move clubs have no obligation to agree to a trade. Interesting times for Schneider and Buchanan in particular.

Aside from St Kilda laughing at us we've already stated that we're after fast outside midfielders not slow in-and-under players with OP.
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

Why is Mathews not being mentioned.....? If all those melbourne scribes think B1 is a gun, then maybe...just maybe...they think Benny is OK as well.
How about a staight swap...Benny for TJ.

Can't see us doing a trade with StKilda as neither of us have what the other wants - in fact we both probably need the same thing - fast outside midfielders and large defenders.

If we're after fast outside midfielders why get rid of Schneider? He can become that player.

Should look at Dyson from Essendon, they need a hard inside mid now that Hird is gone.

I agree with you in that I don't want to see the back of him either. But, if the match committee have decided to see what's out there then I don't think Luke Ball would be what we're after. Not to mention the fact that we don't have enough to give.

It's all a smoke screen....the real story is that after years of not trading, we are really after Judd in some extraordinary deal involving Carlton. Juddie feels he owes it to us after half the Illegals were playing under some sort of pharmaceutical influence these past three or four years...his conscience dictates that he wants to try and put things right...

Schneids to the Aints.....hmmmm...does anyone know how many pints of lager he can down in a session? I think the Drunks would have a minimum requirement there, and personally, I'm not sure Schneids is up to it...
