True, true. I've been relying on the descriptions of others which have contained too many Monty references, no doubt just relying on the Colac connection. Will take yr word for it.

Whose playing future is up in the next week?

As we have to make a minimum number of 3 changes to our senior list plus add a couple of rookies, here is my summation of who goes, who stays etc.

From our trades last week, we lost 2 off the senior list but gained two senior players Playfair and Mattner) so its all square.

From the senior list, I think it will be from the following that we delist

Doyle, Faulks, Phillips (never given a real chance this year), Vogels

From the rookies, Barlow will go up to senior list for sure

M Davis, Shaw and Rowe will go as time up

Brennan, O"Dwyer (showing good potential in reserves) and N Smith (might be upgraded if position available as played well in reserves this year) will stay on rookie list for 1 more year

If Bird is a gimme as one of our picks in the Draft and Barlow is elevated, that leaves only 2 spots available if we delist the 4 mentioned from senior list.

As the Draft is not one of the hottest in a few years, our first pick will probaby be the talented one Stewie and Ricky pick out of the pack with the second one offering potential.

But its going to be tight with changes at a minimum.

Good news is that it will give some of our 3rd year rookies like Laidlaw, Moore, Brabazon and Thornton hopefully some hope of a game.
