    C'mon Lucky.
He's an idiot. He's been warned by the AFL and his club.
He knows he's treading on thin ice (no pun intended).
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

We could just save millions by doing away with that silly court system.

Sorry Annie but I don't find that situation anything other than really sad and distressing. It's not just about his footy career here or the club or the AFL. This is about someone in a seriously dangerous state engaging in incredibly self-destructive behaviour. I hope he quits footy and gets his life sorted out because you can't help but think that he is headed on a bad road to nowhere if this is true.

I'm not sure what I mean by "this" - he is engaging in behaviour or associating with people that is bringing him to the attention of the police. I really hoped that he would get himself out of this messy situation as he is a phenomenal footballer IMO.

Maybe it's nothing. Maybe the coppers were on a treasure hunt and had to collect a shirtless idiot. Job well done guys.

We're just speculating at the moment. We're allowed to do that aren't we?

Dockerland are speculating as well .... a few of them were watching it live.

The average Joe isn't handcuffed and taken away by the cops after being pulled over.

                That's all I'm saying.

I admit I don't know what offence has been committed, but he was targetted by Gang Crime Squad and arrested in Northbridge. I would say that they know what they are doing??
I might have a slight drinking problem. My husband asked me to toast some bread for him...so I raised my wine glass and said "Here's to bread!"

Some people don't seem to think so......

My guess is that they've found drugs in the car and/or Ben was intoxicated (It would explain why he was sitting in the back half naked ). Given Ben's past it's not out of the question IMO.

Lucky, you're right, it is sad.
It's sad that that santimonious son of a mountain cow has been given EVERY opportunity to clean up his act. Not very many junkies are afforded the same opportunities to clean themselves up. He spits in the face of opportunity.
It's sad that the criminal faithful put their faith back in him and afforded him a heros welcome. After the breaking news today - was it really warranted? (Doesn't really matter whether he's innocent or not - the damage has now been done.)

                          Ah, the value of hindsight.

Ben Cousins arrested questioned by police

                            Article from: AAP

                            October 16, 2007 03:45pm

STAR West Coast Eagle Ben Cousins is in custody after being pulled over and handcuffed by police in Perth.
Cousins was reportedly pulled over by police in the Perth suburb of Northbridge and questioned in his four-wheel-drive for 45 minutes. Shirtless and grinning, Cousins spoke to police for some time, witnesses say.
Police searched the car and then reportedly handcuffed Cousins before taking him to Curtain House in East Perth. He was travelling with a blonde woman and another man, also believed to be an Eagles player.
Cousins was reportedly devastated by the recent death of close friend Chris Mainwaring and Eagles officials openly admitted they were concerned for his welfare.

I just saw the footage on the news. He was laughing as Police took him away, didn't look right.

Why would Cousins be grinning while being arrested? Is he an arrogant bastard or what? God, I hope the Eagles get rid of the bastard.
