There is a definite conflict of interest here and it is the AFL which needs to come down hard on clubs that turn a blind eye. They should also stop dancing around with players association, and if they are serious about controlling illicit drug use then 1 stike and your out. Harsh I know, with occasional players being thrown out for 1 mistake. But in the long run it would stop any chance of a ballooning culture of drug use occurring.
