You can't "prove an opinion" (the tired point you are trying to make I assume) but you can show that there is more merit to your opinion if there are unbiased sources that agree. Umpires or various media sources, for example. If you can't find such a thing, perhaps you should entertain the idea of being wrong (alien though that is to you).

I'm sure it's a lovely, sunny spring day wherever you are. Go and soak up some vitamin D. I hear it's good for your bones. Something about needing it to make the calcium that you drink in milk actually work. Or something like that.
