Yep i'm still bitter about getting relocated and i will never get over it.I just cant understand how the AFL can prop up clubs like the Roos,Carlton,Melbourne but just relocate Fitzroy and South Melbourne.

Talk to my missus??? Every time I start the conversation...with, "Honey, I've been thinking about the Swans....." she looks at me quick as a flash and says "how much money do you earn?" Then she smiles and turns on her heel 'cos she knows the answer is "not enough to keep you in the comfort you desire...and therefore not enough for me to spend on foxtel."

When I suggested I could find a way to earn the extra $300 she had an answer for that too "I'm not giving away my hard earned money just because that @@@@@ Andrew Demetriou has manipulated you poor Swans fans into coughing up hundreds of dollars when you shouldn't have to. We must have close to the toughest draw. To not play any of the bottom 6 twice is puzzling to say the least and playing the WCE, Aints and Port twice in first 12 rounds and to finish off with Geelong, Collingwood and the Lions in the last 3 rounds, makes for some tough thinking at Swans head quarters.

It is a tough draw, but the last three years we have had a pretty good one, payback i guess.

Very pleased with the extra night games though, like sunday arvo in the sun, but you cant beat a night at the footy.

I'll skip the night games at the SCG next season and watch them on TV. It is too much to ask to travel on public transport on Saturday night especially during annoying track works.

So the relevance of which teams finished where in 2007 is arguably irrelevant in determining how hard this draw is.

That is true in practice, but the draw is supposed to be based on previous years (plus some tweaking for preferences)

I reckon it is a big mistake having so many night games, there are a lot of families with young kids that go to Swans games. The Swans are quite reknowned for having a lot of families as their supporters and I think Sat night games will make it difficult.

Better night games from experience. You would get more new people attending at night rather than give up the Sunday to go.

Always hard though, i love night games, and they are generaly beter attended.

They are usually the 'bigger games' though so it is hard to compare

Same reason you cannot compare telstra and SCG as telstra gets virtually all finals and a few hand picked 'blockbuster' games. IMHO if we played freo or port or North out there, we would be lucky to get 10,000
