Had no case in the first place? Where a car is driven erratically and the driver is suspected to be under the influence - and refuses to take a test, why is there no case in the first place?

I think you missed inserting the term "allegedley" in several locations, in the above statement.

I couldn't say whether or not he was driving the car erratically (Neither could you). The law is the law and it's there to protect me and you just as much as it is Cousins. He may very well be guilty of everything he was charged of, but he's also entitled to due process and a reasonable oppurtunity to defend himself. We'd both like to have the same entitlements I think.

Sorry, but there is nothing alleged about his refusal to take a drug test. He simply didn't accept it.

Swantastic called me and said he heard something (more than likely from SEN) about how disgraced ex-west coast eagles fallen star ben cousins will admit to the AFL the extent of his drug addiction at their meeting next week. Apparently, part of the rehab process is admitting to all around you that you indeed have a problem.

Not quite Annie, it is to admit that you have a problem to one other person. It is step 5. You can have a look for yourself at the 12 steps of Narcotics Anonymous, it is also used in AA and GA (Gamblers Anonymous).

There is no "allegedly" about it he was driving erratically and that's why they picked him up. The police stuffed it by not using the correct officer to charge him. Simple. and fair.

What traffic offense was he charged with?

The old "driving erratically" charge is the one they always use when they don't have due cause.

Hmm, interesting. Can you play footy with ADD? It looks to me it would be almost impossible. What are other side effects if you take the medicine during such physical effort? I hope he's not receiveing just another of those "clever" advices from his lawyer(s) telling him what public statements he should make. I though you were suppose to advise AFL if you take any medication, which might impact your performance. I believe that was a requirements since the A Lynch case.
