Amazing how we get a player with AFL standard skills and suddnely he should be all-Australian. If he played for anyone else he's just be another Joel Bowden. Hope he keeps getting better and gets a run in the middle. His delivery could see Davo kick 60. Future captain of the club.

It is a pleasure to watch his searing passes to advantage. Our forwards eyes must light up joy when the Sherrin hits them on the chest (or in Halls case this year on the nose ).

Only reason I marked him down was that he was caught holding the ball trying to run out of defence a number of times. This was mainly when Kennelly was not playing and Malceski was trying to do 'too much' when a 50-60 metre kick to HF would have done. This will come with greater experience.

If he continues to play in the defensive half he should take the majority of kick-ins as he is one of the few in the team able to instigate a long fast clearance.

            Cheers

You know when I see these things at times it occurs to me (in that odd part of the cranium) that maybe the coach perhaps whispered in their ear and said something (words to the effect) "Look mate, we're well in front, but I want you to take it a bit further and if (FILL IN BLANK) is coming in on you, keep the pedal down and take him on ... "

Am I being a bit nonsensical here?

7.5 Gun in the wings for sure but kicked some absolute clangers when trying to deliver that trademark scorching pass.

he started superbly, one of the most consistent players in 2007, with Mattner coming into the side, Malceski should move into the midfield where he can be dangerous with his beauitiful left foot kick.

Malceski had a great year and really seemed to arrive as an AFL player. Hopefully he can continue to improve and work his way into elite status as we all know he is capable of.
I'm holding back a couple of points only because I believe there is so much improvement to come and I need room to lift his score in future years.

he's by far my favourite player and had an start to the season
i think injuries may have held him back a little, along with the opposition catching onto him

not sure how he'll be next year with the extra pressure and a possible move into the midfield, but i hope he's still awesome!
