Ajn is right in that he's one of those players that gets a job and does it often without really standing out or looking flashy.
    Every team needs them.
But he needs to work on his disposal, and even getting his hands on the ball once he has worked his way into space.
Not his best year, but he probably flies under the radar a bit for me too.

    4/10.

        5.5/10

Plenty of posters above with the knives out.

Ablett was average this year just like the overall team performance. He was by no means the worst performer and followed his assigned game plan as asked each week.

I think that he is unfairly targetted by the umpires for holding the ball. There were many times when Ablett got pinged when a Judd or Black or Hird would have been allowed to play on or a ball up called.

I expect greater return for his efforts next year.

        Cheers

they work this guy does is incredible,he is not flashy but 90% of the time he gets the job done.
i would like to see him freed up a bit,i get sick of five or six opposition players being tagged every week.

          6/10

He was reported to have an injury pre season that would prevent him playing until well into the season but amazingly he bobbed up earlier than expected.

His season for mine was very ordinary and I suspect his injury situation was poorly managed. Looked to me all season he was carrying an injury and his kicking on the run was abysmal and inability to get where the ball was attested to it.

Maybe not all his fault that he had a 2/10 season. My overall assessment is that he played like an old mo**.

Had a poor year, but missed a fair bit of pre-season due to injury.

When he first came on the scene he has a good long kick, but that has disappeared.

I think he's one of the victims of 2 long seasons, and a good break before next season will do him the world of good.

Noggy, goes Alright When We Are Going Alright.
Just Goes Missing Though When We Really Need Him Needs To Be More Proactive At Getting It And Using That Thumping Kick To Our Advantage. He Can Play , Went Back A Little Like A Few Others
                    Easily A Pass Though 6/10

6/10 and with an injury interupted season. I like NOG.
