Two AFL players to be bronzed at SCG

I heard that there will be a total of 10 statues made at the SCG of which two will be AFL players. I didn't catch the number for other codes and I didn't hear what criteria they were using to determine who gets bronzed.

Richie B was born and bred in NSW and had many significant games at the SCG. So I'm not sure if its NSW born and bred is the criteria or greatest impact at SCG.

    Who will it be????

Paul Kelly immediately came to mind to fit all of the above criteria. However I couldn't think of anyone else that fit same.

Next person would be Plugger mainly because he brought a lot of attention to AFL when he played up here, not to mention breaking Coventry's record at the ground. Although he's a mexican.

Although players of the post 82 year might feature, there's not too many that are remembered today by current Swans converts except for wacky wozza.

Any other players you would think to get bronzed?

I was thinking if they bronze Plugger, surely the pig would have to be as well.

The MCG statues are based on the latter criteria, here are the ones immotalised around the MCG.

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

To get the true young dad experience you would have to make it an animated statue with a small child tugging on the arm with the pie, the pie falling to the ground then the child happily eating their sausage roll as the dad just stands staring at the fallen pie.

Definately Plugger. Probably Kells. Or maybe Roos.

Read it would be players that have played exclusively in Sydney. Record games holder Micky O and Brownlow medallist and most courageous player Paul Kelly seem logical.

What about dual Brownlow medallist, Adam Goodes?

Bobby Skilton could be thrown into the hat as well.

Why? He never played at the SCG.
