    Well, now it seems the USA is after him as well - he's due to appear in court on Feb 15 ... and we only find out about this now!!

    He has lost his job at Channel 9.

        Is it a co-incidence that in 2001 when Fox launched (and mere days before the season) Carey was exposed in the fiddlin'-with-the-captain's-wife farrago. And now - yet again - his timing is ... well, astounding. Is Max Markson lurking anywhere nearby? Is it a media stunt?

            I think it's far from a media stunt. If it were a media stunt, we would have found out about the "little indescretion" in the US before now. (I could have been bitching about Carey for weeks now.)

                                        If he has to go, he has to go. No doubt an arrest warrant would've been issued if he wasn't required to arrive in the US to face trial but did return.

                                                            Rumoured to be $20.000. Interesting that 7 (of course) bought it, after it had been rejected by other networks (yet again).
