Ummm.... I know we all like to pretend sometimes that he doesn't exist... But aren't we forgetting Jolly??? He is still our number 1 ruckman, even with Everitt in the side. To be honest, I don't think Spida could carry the ruck duties alone like Jolly does. I'd be more concerned if it was Jolly who was out. Spida is only ever going to play 16 -18 games a year for us anyway...

as bad as this news is, as pointed out we still have jolly. He is our no 1 ruckman and he will simply have to stand up even more. Hopefully one of the young blokes will get an extended run in the pre season to see if he is up to it, but it might be a matter of jolly trying to carry the load for a while by himself. He has done it more then adequately before so why not again.

People are forgetting about Jolly's season in 2006 (no, not the grand final). He seemed to step up alright as the number one ruck. And it's safe to say he didn't have too much support when you have Donkey mainly on the sidelines and the one and only Torture Chambers.

Currie is still too itsy bitsy to play in the AFL, he would be a "gonna snap in two" risk. White would be undersized by height but is as big (if not bigger) as anyone in the AFL.

Currie has stacked on alot of muscle over the preseason, it'd take a freight train to snap him in 2.
