Congrats to B2. Very much deserved given his performances on the field practically ever since he came to Sydney. His off-field efforts would also seem to be an indication of the kind of person he is!!!
I only hope that Goodesy has been given good feedback as to why he missed out and what he needs to do (or not do) to get his opportunity...assuming of course that it is something he desperately wants to do
I think Craig is a good choice, however what happened to the previously stated logic of having captains all over the park?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Good point - Davo was the ideal choice.
"As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun. Blessedare the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
Have you informed the match committee that that will be ok?
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

Well, the match committee and I haven't sat down yet to discuss my decision in full, but I can't see them having much of a problem with it.
Anyhews, it takes the pressure off Goodsey a bit so he can get his third Brownlow this year.

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Craig Bolton will be Sydney's third captain for the upcoming AFL season, coach Paul Roos announced today.
Bolton will join co-captains Leo Barry and Brett Kirk in the club's leadership group, replacing Barry Hall, who opted to step down from the role.
Well deserved.
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out.... Des' Weblog
Bugger, it has been. Was it in a different forum, or did I have selective blindness?
A mod can merge this one into the other.
