I think for a guy with a big leap it actually benefits you against taller opponents. If you're able to make body contact with your opponent because you're jumping before they are jumping and thereby minimizing the height your opponent can jump. I think this is what made Goodesy so devastating in the ruck. The fact he is also so athletic at his height makes him equally dangerous. As we saw in the Hawthorne game he can run off his man providing a very difficult positional matchup when the ball is in general play.
