Yep, nothing wrong with this style of game and the club/playing group know it works in pressure games.

As with every year it will come down to execution and our ability to get our best players on the park performing each week.

It's going to take vintage years from our KP players and at least 3 to 5 of the younger guys being good enough to demand a spot in the side to do it, but as a whole we are capable.

So going on all reports, Moore, Jack, Bird and Balow all look likely for round 1 with White possibly getting a game due to ruck issues and prospect of meeting with St Kilda with King, Gardiner and Kossie.

mcs i totally agree in part..but our constant switching of play across goal square was disgusting to say the least...were some good signs but just as many bad ones

I agree with everything. A very up & down performance today. I think there needs to be a marked improvment before Rd 1. I'm sitting here right now in a little discomfort from my sunburnt arms after being at the game today. Should have thought to take sunscreen but didn't think it would be quite that warm.

And to the Jones s thanks again for a great day.

I think the possession game is finished as an effective strategy.

Good news on Moore and Barlow.

            Jolly is a worry.

bedford its all nice to say that but surely some of the mistakes that were made today shouldnt be happening in the 4th practice match of the season and the final one before the home and away season starts. Totally agree thejones about the switching of play that was really getting on my nerve. Because if you do that then you have to play on and get out of there. Two or three times minimum we switched then switched back again and one time I think we switched 3 times before coughing up the footy.

And Big D why didnt you sit undercover. Bay26 onwards at the southern end was general admin and part of the other end undercover was as well

How did Marty Mattner play? I feel his run and long kicking will be crucial to us winning games this year, espicailly with Mal going down. I hope White, Bird and Barlow get in from the fringe players, Though Moore obviously deserves first crack and did his chances no harm today from all reports.

I'm bloody rapt that Moore did well. I've been a huge fan of him, since we recruited him. If he's not in the side by Round 1, I'd be totally disappointed.

LOL. I actually had sunscreen with me. I even put some on. My arms at least.

Didn't think about the open neck of my polo though and I am now doing a very nice impression of a Swans' heritage guernsey.

I cannot believe that anybody who saw that game yesterday would not have Moore in the best. For mine, Goodes was the only one on our team that played better than him.
