super impressive but I thought he was the couple of times he played last year (Or was it only one last season too long ago!). Fairly composed around the ground, good disposal generally and can go in hard and tough. That bump was brilliant, one of them every week and Ill be more then happy! Looks like a real hard nut but has some skill as well and could very well be a very good player for us. Has to do it week in and week out now, but for me was BOG for Sydney tonight.

Very impressive - Much more confident than his handful of games last year. Very willing to attack the ball and back himself.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

it's amazing the gulf between him and that bevan. Both come from Rugby League backgrounds yet Jack is so much classier than bevan. Even the way he bumps!

Bevan thinks he is still playing League most times.

How proud would have Gary been tonight you reckon? Was one of my favs when he played and am proud of the way Kieren played showing the determination of his old man.

            Vast improvement from last season.

Also wasn't Craig Bird gonna be the swans next big thing? Didn't seem like it!!

I reckon young Craig learnt a thing or two about the pace of AFL footy tonight. He'll be better for it. Showed a couple of nice touches before he got pinged for holding the ball - then went into his shell a bit after that.

He tried to sell a dummy with his first touch, fumbled and it all went downhill from there.

If he's better than Bevan, he may be of some use in the side.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

To Craig's defence he wasn't playing that badly till he got smashed in the head.

Jack played very well, he was definitely one of our best.

Impressed! He's a real goer. Plays with plenty of heart and commitment.

Same with Jarrad Moore. I'm real confident about these two for the whole year now.

A few knocks will do him good. By round 3-4 he'll be set!

This is all just a learning process for the bird. Come round 6 he will be ready to fly!

He is only a cygnet still.

Very impressed by Jack - did a good few team lifting things. Lots more game time ahead for him.

Quality - the only positive from the match.
