    What the frack!

A great way to spend a warm autumn Sunday - watching the Swans thrash the Port scum at the SCG. The constant pressure applied by Sydney was great, we dominated the centre square contests, we moved the ball forward quickly, our young players continue to improve (special mention to Jack and Barlow) and how good to see Bazza and MOL kick a bag each. Woo-hoo.

Thrilling performance. Great to see the young players do so well, particularly Moore and Jack Young Bird is about half a step away from a polished midfielder. And a mea culpa. Was wrong about McVeigh. Ran well and positioned himself really well. Apologies to the Jarrad McVeigh Appreciation Society. However I must say his effort at backing up Jolly when he was being rough housed was a little mild. Nonetheless a genuine running outside midfielder has emerged.

Apology accepted, and I'll return it with an apology to you. Bevan played the best game I've seen him play in a long time. I think playing him forward in bits was a master stroke. Who knows? Maybe that's where he will find his niche.

Certainly my most enjoyable day at the footy for a while. Great to see plenty of goals kicked AND a Swans win.

McVeigh was great. Certainly looks fit and was running all day - gut busting runs too.

The intensity across the park was amazing. If we can maintain that sort of pressure all season we will do OK.

ROK's goal kicking is still leaving a bit to be desired. For someone who's such a great mark its almost criminal that he seems to rarely finish off the job with a goal. Here's hoping today was just a blip.

Yep , a lovely day to go to practice my religion and a fine result.
And some cracking-looking ladies there , too .
Close to a Perfect Day , really.

Only when the skills and effort are 100% perfect.

Luckily, I don't remember us doing that much recently, otherwise what the hell would we complain about?

Much improved game, that. Amazing the difference from last week. Still a lot of things to work on, but I'm happy with the progress. Tough challenge in Brisbane next week, but I'm sure we're up for it.

Beautiful sunny day at the SCG. Great for footy, lousy for photography. My efforts here for those who are interested - losfp : photos : Swans v Port, 30/03/08- powered by SmugMug

I don't seem to ever bring the camera to any games where it's overcast unfortunately

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

About as bad as Kennelly does.

Mc Veigh is looking a lot like the late Maurice Gibb (thats not really a compliment)

                                Before or after he died?
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.
