McVeigh was good on yesterday, lets hope he can keep it up.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

One good game and the McHack Love Club start sticking out the tongues!!

I'll eat my words if he can manage to break his record of stringing three good games together this year.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

As I said elsewhere, right now he has two games' start on Goodes.

But one swallow doesnt make a summer. But I am prepared to say he is playing much better and I will be the first to congratulate him if he continues in the same vain.

And last year, Goodesy still polled 20 votes in a brownlow comp that he was ineligible to win - and those votes were polled in the second half of the season.

How many browlow votes did McHack poll????

Write this down a hundred times .... I must not compare McHack and Goodesy. They are in different leagues.

Different leagues I thought they both played in the AFL ,but yesterday McVeigh was a lot better than Goodes.

Yes one of them has turned up for our first two games, the other hasn't.

I've generally kept quiet on McVeigh but I think he's unfairly become a maligned player for a few reasons. Firstly his high draft pick has brought with it unfair expectations. I also think by being given tagging assignments he's been given the wrong role and been unable to show much attacking flare.

Thankfully we're seeing him freed up so far this year and he looks a much better player as a result.

He's much maligned because most of his 60 games have been ordinary at best, crap at worst. He played well yesterday, even laying a good tackle, and kicked straight... but let's revisit his form halfway through the season....as our fearless premier Morris Lemon says..."Lots to do, but heading in the right direction."

Watch what you say Annie - look what happened to Wardy!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Annie said at the footy round 2..
If McVeigh strings 3 good games together i'll stop speeding for good.

He did have a few good games late last season too. Hope he turns out to be a good player for us.

McVague is gold though thanks for that one.
