I simply believe he just isn't liked by the leadership group (senior players), and he is ignored by them during the game and off the field. This makes it awkward for the coaching staff to work with.

I agree, it reeks of the leadership group, as did the Schnieder trade.
Except for 1 happy outcome which contradicts this theory.....Barlow came in, not Mathews.

Lions have a reasonable ruck combination of Charman and Leuenberger (sp?) that seems to be working ok - with Spida out and Goodes a possibility chances we might see a debut from another tall like White et al?

Just out of interest, does anybody have any idea how Currie is coming along? Is he anywhere near ready to play league footy? Or is he still a season or two away from being considered? Given that Leuenberger and Kreuzer are both very young and are/will be playing senior footy this year, perhaps Currie is a chance too. Maybe.
