Ins and Outs for this week against the cats

    Out

    Hall - AAAAAH Barry!!!!
Bird - Has had a good run and gotten a taste of it but we probably need a bit more experience to take on Geelong

    In

Davis - 13 goals in two weeks need i say more we will need his class in an undoubted tight game...
Grundy - if not still injured ofcourse - still have my doubts about him though has had a few oppurtunities and hasn't really grasped the mettle - may have to make way for Everitt so needs to put it all together soon.

Can anyone else tell me if we have another tall option?

Perhaps he will play goodesy at CHF and bring in a winger/onballer - if so who?

I can't see there being any more than the one change this week, unless others are forced by injury.

Despite the excellent victory by the ressies last weekend, none of them (Davis aside) looked senior-ready. Of course, Mathews didn't play so he's excluded from that.

Grundy's listed as 1 week away on the latest injury list.

Bird really hasn't done much wrong and as each week has passed, he's looked more comfortable in his role. How better to continue his education than against the best currently going around? In the absence of anyone else screaming for a spot in the team, I don't see any reason to drop him now.

We probably need some midfield reinforcements for Geelong so maybe Mathews to come in this week?

Id prefer to have Birdy in rather then Matthews to be honest. But I can see the case for some more experience but Id still only make the one change for BBB.

I think Bird is a must this week.He has def held his own and shouldnt be dropped just for the sake of it. With Geelongs never ending line of running players he will be needed to help shut down an opponent which he has shown he is more than capable of doing. If you look at his games closely so far his opponents have been very well held by him when he is on the park and he still manages to get a few kicks himself . Is also very strong over the ball and no doubt if it is blustery or raining it will be a scrappy game.
The edge is not the limit, It's just the starting point...

Only really see the need for one change.

            Davis in, Hall out.

Provided that Jolly is right to go, and with Ottens still out, I don't really see the need to rush Everitt back.

What's the latest with Jolls? He's a superb set shot for goal and we're going to need all our dead-eyes on target:

              Jolly
              Davis
              Barlow
              Mick

This is going to be a tough contest. One thing that could work in our favour with Baz out is that is throws Geelong's defensive structure into a bit of the unknown.

We are going to need play a lot like Geelong and disgard normal forward structure and spread the goals among the mids. Davis and Mick will be heavily guarded so like last week we need McVeigh, Cheese, ROK and Jude to score often.

One last bit...how did Mooney get off so lightly? The man has a list of charges longer than the one-liner scripts from Laverne & Shirley.

Yeah, even if we had Hall and a full squad to pick from, we'd still be unlikely to get a win at Geelong this week, so no point risking underdone players like Everitt.

One change: Davis in, Hall Out.

IT really Sucky McSuck Sucks that this game ain't live on TV in to Melbourne this weekend! I mean, besides the fact that it is hard to get a ticket and expensive, who wants to travel down to the Cattery and sit with the ferals anyways!

OK, back to the topic...don't think there should be any changes (other than the obvious)...Think Birdy is getting more comfortable and as someone said before, he will learn a lot from playing against guys the calibre of Geelongs midfield. Also excited for Jacky...will be a great test for him and no doubt his sharp learning curve will continue this weekend!

Bevan must surely go after his performance against WC. Nine uncontested marks for 11 possessions is an appalling figure for a player whose only value is as an in-an-under midfielder. He did not even lay a single tackle.

I love going there. We don't win too often down there, but when we do it's sensational.

                        Enjoy taking on the crowd!

I love the pig pen down at Kardi - when the swans get up the footy train back to town is tops.
I hope Davo is the only change.

Only one change for me. Brennan to play as a decoy FF, drawing Scarlett out of the action. He can't kick anyway so keep the ball away from Luke.

I know the talk is Spider coming back in the ressies first but perhaps we should play him as a permanent FF on Saturday. At least it would drag one of their tall defenders back and free up someone else.

                              Just a thought...
