Good to see Dermie saying what some of the rest of us have been saying. OK, the response was way over the top, but until that point the ump did nothing. This is not to blame the ump; Hall has to take the responsibility. But perhaps he could have given Staker the kind of push that put Hunter flat on his bum?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

      Guilty conscience perhaps?
Why should he do the rounds when his mummy is doing an admirable job for him!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

She probably took the cue from Bazza's mummy after the '06 GF...

As for the "bloods" ethos ...

FFS - that's what got them into the grand final in 2005. That was three years ago.

The team has changed and evolved.

          MOVE ON.

Maybe Staker for once, could take his balls out of his mummy's purse for once.

A good article by Dermie. I thought this was going to be the theme of Malthouse's article in the Oz today except he took the line that the most reported players tend to be the extroverted forwards and midfielders. Dermie's theory makes more sense.
