    Henry Playfair

Will he get a run at CHF before Hall comes back?

Does anyone know how far away he is from a few games in the reserves?

Depending on how Barlow goes forward, and how well Nick Smith and Davis play, maybe. Also depends on how Brennan plays in the ressies.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Jesse White has to be a bird to come in at FF next week.

Anyone who things playfair is the answer, need only look at some Geelong videos from years past.

LRT and Playfair are similar types of players, except LRT is heaps better. If you dont think LRT could cut it at CHF, then dont go near Playfair.

I'd be more in favour of Jesse White, or strucuring ourselves around Everitt at FF.

I'd much rather see Jesse debut than have Playfair come in under done.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I'd love J dubb to play next week but i guess Grundy will have first crack if he is fit for next week.

The Kangas would of got alot of confidence beating the pies in a thriller tonight so let's hope the swannies are on their game next Sunday.

totally agree jeffers next week is a crucial game. We need to get a win after the game today, especially the disappointment of the last quarter and as well we need to be 4-2 rather then 3-3, although at the start of the season most would have been pleased at 3-3. A big game for us as we dont play that well at Telstra Dome, but need to bounce back well. I think we will, I hope the spirit is still high in the team as the final result and margin werent what we wanted but they showed plenty of courage today and I think we showed we could still be up there come the end of the year.

On the kangas, by goodness Ill be pissed if I get tomorrows games right in the tipping. Have got the other 4 right so far (Tipped Geelong more because they are geelong rather then tipping against the swannies) and last week I got 6 only to be let down by Carlton and Richmond!

The question is whether the loss yesterday will affect their confidence to win. The game against Norf is not going to be a walk in the park. If their confidence was smashed yesterday you can pencil next game as a loss.

No future in Everitt. He is 34 on 3/5 and I doubt he will come up after bugger all pre season and a long term injury. I feel too many fans are Everitt centric. Put White there and leave him there. We were woefully short up forward yesterday and Everitt is not mobile enough now to be a forward factor of any significance.

I understand your sentiments Nico, but you only have to look at Nick Smith yesterday to see what throwing in a youngster in too early will do.

Yoiu just can't throw in too many and hope that the older players can carry the team, we lacked punch off the bench yesterday against a team that has 22 contributors.

If Everitt is ready to go next week then it's straight back into the side.

White should get some game time this year but hopefully only against bottom 6 teams and as the 22nd player so he can adjust to playing senior football and turn out as a 200 game player for the club.

I was only think of using Everitt as a forward for the period that Hall is off. You are probably right that the big lumbering forward's days are over.

What are you talking about? I thought Nick Smith looked completely comfortable out there. He was by no means our worst.

Spida, either this week or next, is a bird to play.
