Thanks..that is good to know..was getting really worried that we had wasted a pick on a home sick non-settler or worse someone who broke the no d@@kheads policy.

Good to see Schmidt straight into the best players. Murphy in there too good

And Fossie making a successful comeback too.

Will we see spider back next week?

                      Reserves suffer third loss
Nic Fosdike played well in his first half of football back from injury and Peter Everitt, in his second game back, showed he was ready to be considered for senior selection next week. Matthew Laidlaw left the field in the second quarter with a hamstring injury and did not return for the remainder of the game.

Ben Mathews was the Swans? best player again, playing on ball, and Luke Brennan played well in both the forward and back line. Tim Schmidt, who also played on ball, Brendan Murphy, at halfback and Peter Faulks, at full back, were also in the Swans? best. Top-up player Brendan Edwards was good for the Swans in defence.
Brennan kicked two goals in the first quarter and Mathews and Henry Playfair, in his first game in Swans? colours, also goaled to put the Swans seven points in front at quarter time.
Plenty of players putting their hands up for selection in coming weeks, by the looks of it.
