Time to move him on....even "dopey" Mathews could do better.

Must agree I think Jude may need time in the Magoos now.
Is just to slow !!! Thats why his disposal can be so poor as he trys to give it off to quickly without loking at whats going on or around him.
Its why he didnt get traded as well, fact is we are stuck with him though this is where its good with the young kids playing.
Tim Schmidt,Ben Matthews can be bought in or a Crouch,Fearless(when ready) The progression of our kids have given us this to take.

Much as I have called for 2 years for Mathews to go (and 18 months for Jude to go) even I have to admit that Ben Mathews is a very decent set shot for goal from 40 or less. Jude would be about 4 from 15 over the last 18 months.

Neither shot was easy, but I can't believe that he couldn't register a score.

He really hasn't played consistently well since '06. I see Schmidt as the ideal replacement for him. Much better skills too.

Schmidt and Laidlaw with a couple more weeks in the ressies must be getting close to senior selection.

Schmidt will add a quick hands to our midfield and Laidlaw could come in and play half back to release Kennelly to play in the midfield a little more which would improve our disposal.

We also have Fosdike and Everitt to come back soon, good to see some compertition for spots at present.

Fossie sold his house last week.
Is there something the swans aren't telling us?
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Yeah, he's moving into a new house.

Yep Benny might have his faults, but he is a crack set shot.
Not sure if he would've nailed Jude's 2 as they were difficult angles, but I'm sure we would've got at least a point out of them.

Jude Bolton is one of the great chokers of the the game. How I was hoping Moore would take that mark.
Jude marking within scoring range presents the perfect opportunity for a set play. More specifically the Brian Lake Ploy which involves feigning an injury then handing the ball to a more reliable kick (invariably no-one in the immediate vicinity) to take the shot on goal. Gets you out of a fix every time.

Hang on, let me get this straight.

Of all the criticisms levelled at JBolt, most of which are justified, this is just plain ridiculous.

I wasn't saying that he was soft. But according to some on this forum, pulling out of a contest, or protecting yourself is seen as being soft. It was a tongue in cheek comment about the stupidity of that attitude.

                          A Victorian not rating B1!
Bolton undid all his good work at the Dome against the Kangaroos on Sunday. Of his 19 disposals, 14 were effective, however he had a round-high eight clangers, conceding one free and two 50m penalties, which dragged his match total down to 46 points, his lowest this season.
