I thought he was our best. Not only did he keep Grant to just 6 possessions, but he actually created off half back, something I haven't seen him do effectively for a long time. Very, very, VERY good signs. If he can keep this up.....
Bevo was probably our best player today. We know he is ferocious at it, diving into packs. But he is getting more confidence when he has the ball & his brain explosions are getting lesser & less.
I will admit I thought his career with us was over. Am pleased to be proven very very wrong.
Maybe Bevo's career can be revived by being transformed into a permanent tagger? It certainly worked for Brett Kirk.

Connolly where are you,Bevo had a ripper today and he was far better than pussy Davo.
Davo's second efforts today were hopeless.
Davis WAS played as a leading marking forward, which isn't his game.He is a crumbing running forward, not the type to win you contested possessions & take high marks in the forward line. But his chasing at times was feeble to the point of non-existent at others.
I'm not saying Davis has no talent. His paddle out today is testament to that. But in a team that scores so few goals, keeping the ball in the forward 50 and keeping the pressure on is all important. Having his dawdling after opponents is very very counter-productive.
Does anyone think he is actually playing with an injury at all?
