'Just saw the replay -- and you are quite right Mike B.

My bad. I put it down to blind-fury.
To all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!

The give away is that when the kangaroos player punched it, it hit the BACK of the goal post.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

That just makes the result even worse. Reminds me of the Schwass kick a few years back, does anyone else remember that?

I sure do, against Collingwood, GA said it hit the post. A friend of mine came to that game and refuses to come to another game with me. Just as well as I refuse to take him.
          Bring it on!

Me too. Sitting just to the right of the goals near the point post.
It was definitely a goal. One of the many shocking decisions.

We squandered that many chances to nail this game that we shouldn't be in a position to question this decision. It hurts that the ump got it wrong, but so did a few of our guys leading up to that moment .

I`m still pacing around the house grumbling like a bear with a sore head. Imagine if that was the decider to get into a grand final or even to decide a grand final.

Impossible to tell on the tele, they had a great camera angle down the other for one where the ball had been touched over after a long Thompson shot on goal but didn't seem to have the camera up that end.

I sure wanted it to be a goal
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

At the aftermatch Roosy mentioned the goal that wasn't a goal!
I've only just got home from the game and yet to watch the replay.

On the TV replay it looked like it was well and truly touched outside the line. Lucky Ch7 weren't showing it from 500 feet up!! (WTF is with that anyway?)

The swans stuffed themselves up. SIXTEEN behinds were probably about 13 too many.

Two out of bounds on the full from set shots from Jude Bolton is inexcusable in my books. That was shocking. He should go and spend some time in Canberra.

At the end of the day, two points are better than no points, although four would have been better.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
