Pendlebury is the pick of the pies youngsters. Not sure about the question marks over his disposal. I think the pies really missed him in particular when he was out last year.
MMG Bowden gets cheap posessions at the back.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

Medhurst has been very good this year.... but was pretty ordinary last year...

      Opposite for Thomas.....

Can you imagine them both firing together???

That would really put Collingwood in flag contention.

Mathews would have to be a good chance of playing this week with Ablett out. I wouldn't think we'd need that many talls against the Dogs.

2nd bad game of the season, it would seem. Did Bevan keep his man quiet at least? I didn't see the match. Work.

He seemed to be on a few different players. Did okay defensively from what I could see.

He started on Aker (who had a pretty ordinary day at the office given how well his team was using the ball). But Jack and Bird were both on Aker for a while also, so not sure who else Bevan played on.

lost his man a couple of times in packs which led to goals - both times on eagleton where he started on the wrong side (ie not his left)

i didn't really contribute much on bevan but i would say that the best he will ever be is a good ordinary footballer. and he still hasn't reached those heights. tremendous tackler, not a bad kick and is improving, ok by hand. bad decision maker, loses clever footballers (milne, farmer for example)

i would think the best 22 has both in it, but given how ordinary our forward line is we need davo more than bevan who is more replaceable

Shannon Grant must be one dumb footballer.

                          just slow

he was never fast when young, and he is slow now. still i'd have him for his delivery
