2008 now, Davos hardly touched it since.

Some on RWO have got to get with the program and take a reality check.
It just not onfield why Davo is in Canberra at the moment.
He will get his go again and hopefully bounce back , though at the moment he simply isnt in a good place with form and himself.

There is plenty of room for constructive criticism of every single player on the list. What I most liked about this thread was it took a constructive approach to the problem of Davo's form.

I don't think Davis has been too off the mark so far - with a slight improvement in output he will leap back into our Top 10 and become the damaging player on the scoreboard that we desperately need right now. If that output is 2 goals per game over the season that would be good.

15 mins of inspiring footy in 5 years at a club doesn't automatically put you in our top 10.

But hey if we check stats then he is..right? Davis is incredible at racking up stats and making it look as he has done nothing. Thats his real talent.

a) Nick Davis is soft and lazy. Doesn't tackle or chase..blah blah been covered in this site. MOL tackles and tries to create something from nothing more than Nick ever does.

b) My dislike for Nick Davis is on par with the unofficial Nick Davis appreciation society (pres Stellation) who seem to bag any player yet keep on having love sit ins about Nick. It's not uncommon to read "But I think and his premiership credits have run out" and then "But if wasn't for Nick and that Geelong game.." at the same time. The same club have decided to put blame on Paul Roos for umm i don't know..but something.

c) Frustrating player who has been carrying "potential" and "has more talent in his right pinky" tags for waaaay too long and only showing us 40% of that so called talent.

Davo has got the "confidence" mantra working beautifully. Personally I have completely lost confidence in his lack of confidence. And I'm not confident about a return of his confidence. However, I am confident that he will be traded with confidence to the VFL.

It will be nice if we see the same sort of positive talk from the coach and/or leadership group - ie something along the lines of "Nick's form is down at the moment. We hope he gets it back. When he is on song he is our best 22 and a Nick Davis in our best 22 will go a long way to helping us go deep into September".
