    I would say VIC v SA is an equal if not far more intense. SOO doesn't work because WA and TAS and (teams in NSW and QLD) are also Aussie Rules states, whereas NRL only has NSW and QLD, so it's a lot harder for the AFL to have SOO.

      Yep, that's right. And as far as the VIC vs SA intensity goes, I'll take your word for it.

        I remember a story after a SOO (it may be true, it may not be true lol) That the SA fans were so pissed off after Victoria had beaten them, that the ripped off number plates of a car after the game, and did damage to the car. But the funny thing was, it was Tony Hall's car. A South Australian who was playing in Victoria at the time.

        I heard that story on the radio one time.

        They have Kick a Vic, we have Stone the Crows.

          Wouldn't miss it - you just don't see two teams as good as that otherwise.
          He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
