Is Fred Campbell the best Campbell ever to play with the Swans

Could have been anything but never got the opportunities others did? Who's fault was that - I guess we'll never know. Best Campbell ever for mine.

    He's not the best Fred.

What about Russell Campbell? 4 games, 3 goals! Was a goal kicking machine.

I read somewhere that Plugger Lockett was formally adopted by the people at Campbell's Chunky Soup. So that would surely make him the best Campbell ever to play with the Swans?

I take everything siriously. Completely siriously. Everything.

If you think young Freddie was a better player than Plugger that's your perogative. But I'm allowed a difrent opinion, aren't I?

If he was formerly adopted by Campbells, now or in the past, then he would be known as Plugger Campbell They don't have a Campbell end at the Dome, do they?

Maybe they wanted to honour his Saints playing days too.

Mind you, Freddie Campbell had a magnificent career at the Saints too, didn't he. Is he the Saints' best ever Campbell too?

Not to mention the fact that you've completely disregarded the achievements of Neville Campbell, who you would know played 9 games for the Swans and kicked a goal if you had a copy of Main's 'Plugger and the Mighty Swans'.

Fred never had the opportunities that Neville did.

                        Interesting

Moving to The Aints has been a graveyard for Sydney Players Foschini, P Morwood, F Campbell, Schneider?

Moving the other way seems the way of superstardom and legend status, Cazaly, Lockett (C O'brien) and B Hall

I have left out Jayson Daniels as they poached him from the sydney zone technically he was Sydney, then St Kilda, then Sydney then St Kilda again

When does Ross Lyon get added to the list?

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
