I think we only got 31,000 against the Bombers in the 2005 match at the Olympic stadium, though we were coming off Andy D's infamous comments a week earlier

I distinctly remember the crowd that night, it sounded more like 60,000 in the last quarter when the game was tight, probably because most of them were 'real fans'. I guess losing the bandwagoners has its advantages

Far more likely to win it by 10 behinds.

Yeah >10 scoring shots of some description.

If the crowd gets over 35,000 it will be a miracle.
I don't know if there is anything else on at Olympic Park that day, but I always think a good guide to crowd size is the availability of P1 parking and that was booked out last Thursday when I tried to book. So it may be a good deal more then expected.

We will win this pretty easily I feel.

They apply very little pressure around the ball, which is why our skills deteriorate against decent opponents.

We should play our normal style against them. It will cause plenty of turn-overs and we'll have little resistance on the turn around.

This would be the perfect game for Nick Davis. The Bummers have struggled against small to mid sized forwards this season - Betts, Medhurst & Motlop. I reckon Davo would kick a bag against them, but alas.......

Davo's unique flower child, non-violent style would play the entire Bombers backline into form and confidence. The greatest Bloods forward since Bob Pratt would need something less intimidating than the looser than Paris Hilton's undies defence, to find his confidence.

Great to see a game at Olympia in the afternoon.

The last one against the Lions looked great.

That was fun - tho the Lions fans got a tad grouchy when we did the Mexican wave while one of their players was stretchered off.

I see this as a confidence booster to get the season back on track. Or at least that's how I'd like to see it.

After the concerns expressed about our poor disposal, why not drop the players with the three lowest effectiveness percentage - Everitt, Playfair and Bevan. \o/
