I'm glad he wasn't part of the team in 96, we never would have made the GF!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Being a Rd 9 convert in 96, he is my thoughts.

Glad to see Staffie and his stalker go.

Sad about Schneids but only because he was from NSW. I don't think we miss him on field.

I will be sorry to see Nick Davis go at the end of this year but footy at the end of the day is a meat market.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

Surprised Stevens hasn't got a mention yet. Didn't gut me or anything but I always thought he was handy.

Williams is the obvious one but I hated the dirty @@@@@ so no real loss there IMHO.

Capper was a loss and very underrated by many here. Yeah he was a marketers wet dream, but he could play footy too.

But FWIW, Garlic was the one I thought we missed out on. Followed closely by Licuria.

                      I cried when Cookie left.

He did pretty well over at Fweo - pity they couldn't live up to his ability.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I didn't cry, but I was disappointed. Loved his tenacity when he was fired up.

Yeah, unfortunate for Collingwood. Rocca is a dud and Licuria was a good ordinary player at best. I may be mistaken but haven't we won a flag since those tools left?

Shannon Grant has to be the one for high output longegity..

Teasdale was a Champion for a few years and every bit deserved the Brownlow in his fantasic year but was very injury prone when he transferred.

We had a few smalls when Licuria left and love em or hate em Crouchie and Benny have a premiership and Licuria has a set of Copeland Trophies..I know what he'd prefer!

Post our Sydney move Evans, Williams, Mitchell, ... Grant I did not like but is the best performed of our more recent leavers. I was also sorry to see some good types leave us when were down like Strooper, Henwood and Toohey.

Stafford and Capper had injuries when they left and so were not great losses.
Sports do not build character. They reveal it....Heywood Broun

Was happy to see Licuria go, terrible kick. Post 96 losing Heuskes, Grant and Rocca was disappointing, although Rocca isn't much to be concerned about
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler
