He has been rebuilt and will play.

Hope in light bursts so we can all relax.
But in 2 - 3 weeks back to full flight !!

All makes perfect sense to me.
Except that by doing that, they are ruling him out of playing reserves if they deem he's not quite ready for senior action. Sounds like they've made up their minds that he's going to be wasting his time playing at reserve grade.

In some ways I'm a little disappointed because I was looking forward to watching him tear Tuggeranong a new one, and then sitting back and enjoying the senior game without being on tenterhooks every time he gets crunched in a tackle. Or just stops and props, for that matter.

Injury concerns aside, does Malceski deserve to go straight back into the seniors?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

The only concern then would be his match fitness. Spida came back after 2 matches (really 1.5), Playfair after 1 and now Eski 0. They must not rate the Canberra comp (shock horror)

I love the Eski, but I flat out do not think he has done enough thus far in his career to come straight back into the seniors.

We have sold more than 10,000 three match super passes, have 23,000 members and Essendon fans generally travel to Sydney in good numbers.

Anyhting above 40,000 would be a satisfactory result and that looks very acheivable.

                          first posting

This is my first posting to this forum ... have followed the swans since early 80's ... my old man played for the bloods and my 1st cousin is playing 1sts for the swans tomorrow ... moved to Syd recently and have got offered 4 platinum tickets thru work for tomorrows game ... my girlfriend was keen but she can't attend ... because of the industry i'm in, all my cronies are working so I'm debating wether to go or not ...
