We're playing rubbish footy at the moment. Played alright in the first quarter, but didn't convert our chances. The Bombers hit back in the second quarter, two goals from two free kicks, one of them being arguably the most RIDICULOUS free kicks of all time.

The ball was out on the full, the Sydney runner stuck his leg out to stop the ball, it rebounds off, umpire blows his whistle and awards 50 metre penalty, Essendon has a shot from 35 out and nails it. Bull@@@@.

Still, as Cometti just said... Sydney doesn't respect Essendon at all.

Kennelly has limped off with an injured knee. Possbily dislocated knee cap.

It wasn't. He clearly sticks his leg out to halt the ball's path. Ball bounced off the knee. @@@@house decision, even Cometti expressed his outrage.
