Telstra as a whole is frustrating. I got a phone call from a Telstra representative yesterday, and believe me, I should have said no thanks, and hung up from the start.

Ditto everything said above. Is there a Brownlow for "Worst Web Site Ever"????
I've just ponied up a subscription to the AFL site and after two weeks I've seen zippo.
If there is a just God, Andy D will spent eternity in the company of Sol Trujillo and the AFL video site. The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible newsComment

I will preface this by saying I don't use afl.com.au for any audio/video content, so can't comment on performance issues related to that.
What I have realised is that the front page sucks due to soooo many flash (or whatever they are) sections. Thus I avoid this and work through the links in the navbar where the pages load much quicker and at least make the site bearable.
What really is terrible about the site is that the front page is sooooo bandwidth intensive and yet there is no option for a slower connection speed view of the same page which would cut out the need for all that crap to load all the time.
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I have been really disillusioned with the official AFL sites, especially now they have been filled up with more Flash and ads. It seems their main purpose is an advertising campaign for Bigpond and a way of getting customers by monopolising the video clips. I wish the Swans would have an independent site. Thanks for RWO.Comment

Anyone else having trouble with these today... or has my work corrupted them on me... ??Some people say Football is a matter of life and death - I say it's a lot more important than that!
