Same at homebush. Obviously the RL clubs get some charity deals that will change, but big RL games will still be played there.

Good news is, all AFL finals will be there and not shifted to a waterlogged SCG. Both Sydney teams will have a pristine training venue during summer, and the fence and surface condition will be better prepared for AFL games.
    Smart post barry.
The silly thing about Homesbush is why do the AFL schedule games the day after NRL games,or do the NRL put their fixture out after the AFL's.
Last week for the St.George V Storm match the crowd was only 6800 so why do the seats have to be moved out?
Hopefully the AFL does get control and keeps the NRL crap off it when there is a Aussie Rules game on.

The 2008 AFL season draw was released in late 2007. it listed all times , and dates for 2008.
The NRL draw was released after the AFL. The first 4 or 5 rounds were listed time/date but the remaining rounds were to be announced. the NRL normally only releases time/date for 5 rounds at a time, so they can schedule the best games for friday on channel 9

Thanks for that, that means the NRL can put games on at Homesbush to disrupt the AFL.
Another good reason for theAFL to take over is they might put CUB beer on instead of Toohey's crap.
