    Phlished Survey???

    Just got the below in my mailbox, is it real?.

    I am worried because it got a live link and because Myles' signature for "Sydney Football Club", which I thought should be "Sydney Swans Football Club"

    Anyone got the same?

      It looks like I've got one, but 20 minutes ... sheesh, I can't be bothered!!

      Besides, they never took the advice from the last survey I filled in.
      Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

              I'd say it's real. I got three; one for each of my folks and one for me. Geez, I don't like the ideas that they have for membership options!

                          It's not shouting per se; it's more like very loud positive encouragement (or negative encouragement if I'm speaking to the dirty filthy maggots).

                              First question: Are u a member - Yes
                              2nd: What type of membership - Family
                              3rd: Do u support Sydney - Yes
                              4th: What is your postcode - 2171

                              Thank you, that's all the questions we have

                              WTF

                              Then when u click the button to finish, you get redirected to a site flogging an 'Email for Cash' scheme.

                                      Mrs d has just finished doing it and reckons they were after individual members. She did the Qs you list and was ushered into the rest of the survey. And it certainly took 20 minutes!

                                              TNS - Taylor Nelson Sofres. Haven't looked at the link but sounds like conjoint. It's legit.

                                              EDIT: Just did it for laughs. The idiot who wrote the questionnaire aught to be shot. I have never seen someone attempt a 21 item choice based conjoint task. I can guarantee that they will get rubbish data from this.

                                              My advice...don't do it.

                                              BTW,it was commissioned by the AFL not Sydney.

                                                  I might ring the club about it on Monday. The membership packages we were asked to rate all involved some sort of downgrading to the existing packages I didn't like this survey one bit.

                                                      TNS is a site used by Emailcash for surveys all the time.
                                                      I've done the survey, I'm pretty sure we did somehitng similar a year or 2 ago.

                                                      No harm done.
